This page explains how MarkePinas uses, and does not use, artificial intelligence.
Current status
MarkePinas does not currently publish AI-assisted articles. Our news articles are produced by the MarkePinas editorial team, and press releases are published as written by the issuing organization. Neither is generated by AI.
If we publish AI-assisted articles
If we start using AI tools to help produce articles, we will follow these rules and update this page before the first such article appears:
- Every AI-assisted article will carry an "AI-assisted" label at the bottom of the page.
- Drafts will be based only on the headline, short summary, link, and publication time from public RSS feeds of established news organizations. We will not scrape the full text of other publishers' articles.
- The AI model will be instructed to write an original summary with background and context using only that material, in a neutral tone, without copying sentences and with at most one short direct quotation.
- Every article will list each source outlet with a link to the original report.
- AI-assisted articles may be published automatically. Our editorial team monitors published articles and corrects or removes any article found to be inaccurate, in line with our Corrections Policy.
Limits of AI
AI models can misunderstand context or state things with unwarranted confidence. If you find an error in any article, please tell us through our Corrections Policy.
What we do not do
- We do not use AI to write about events that are not reported by an identified news source.
- We do not generate images of real people or events with AI.
- We do not use AI to produce opinion or editorial content.
